Actually I own a CM9. The Bodyguard size difference is noticeable, about 1/2-3/4" or so shorter - not a huge difference in height, but mainly the beauty of the S&W is it's just thinner. See how thin the others are with a laser.
-
The Glock 26 is a serious high cap 9mm. And it's way too large for any pocket carry,
-
Fit and finish seem nice. Has good reviews. Bought a box of 250 to run through it.

I've carried this baby almost every day and now have shot 400 rounds. It glitched exactly twice for me. Both with the extended magazine. The round somehow canted in the mag and didn't feed. I'm watching this magazine. I did receive the free extended mag yesterday, so I'll see how it goes. When I carry, I use the regular mags, and those have no issues. So I'm not too worried. If the original extended mag carries on in such a manner it goes back to heaven for rework.

I bought a box of Corbon .380 +P at the gun show this AM.
-
I do wish SAAMI would designate a +P .380 round. Funny thing, at a gun show this summer, the Ruger guy was saying you can run +P in the .380....sales guy, of course......
-
I'm asking the wife for a copy for Christmas.
-
Is there no SAAMI .380ACP +P? Seems none of the gun (.380 Semiauto) companies (Ruger, Kahr, S&W) will stand behind +P usage. Not surprising I suppose, but S&W told me this today: "Because there is no industry specification for .380 +p, we cannot recommend that you use it in our firearms." Thoughts?

M1941 Johnson Semiauto Rifle, Part 1, History
Pablo replied to BarryinIN's topic in Semi Automatic Rifles
Wow - nice read. Much rather read it from you than read some magazine butchered article. Great info. -
I'd love to wait in line for a signed copy!! Very cool, if I do say so myself.

Taurus have their fans. Someone brought up Taurus revolvers at the range club, wow the old timers love the things. I was kinda amazed. I've not enough knowledge to judge too deeply. The revolvers I've fondled at the shops seem OK. But revolvers can seem fine and shoot like junk. Semi-autos I can for usually feel the slide action and dry fire for feel. I did not like how the Taurus 1911 felt, but people swear by them as good quality.

Is it OK if I print this? I can't read that much in one shot on my PC and suddenly I'm riveted. -
FINALLY got to shoot the Savage today. Seemed to run OK. No hiccups. I was on paper, first shot. A tad high and left. A little tweeking and I was high right. Not used to adjusting a scope so it took me a box of ammo to dial it in. OK OK I was plinking. The groups were not some touching miracle shots, but not so bad. For such a light gun, the recoil was not bad at all.

Both sides of the spectrum pictures. Some people count down to retirement so they can quit work, hit the beach, loaf, whatever........I'm counting down so I can retire and have time to reload!

Actually it's a fine time to start a business. Allow me to evaluate my needs.

Funny - after 15 days I get a reply. http://www.sharpshootersupply.com/ The HIGH CAPACITY DBM MAGAZINE (9 rounds) will fit. But it's $80. Yikes....
-
I only do it on my property, or friends, or at a gathering of such nuts, east side of the mountains and such - we had an open carry meet up at Starbucks in Duvall once. Oh I know the "look".
-
Sure they can order it. Just means they have 10-20% of the money and you can wait for many, many months. Gun distribution in the USA is very terrible. It's not a complete racket, just not smooth at all. In the PNW, we get the short end of the poop stick.
-
Yeah that's the problem - where? None of the local places can find them in the pipeline. I'm going to be patient and not overpay on GB.
-
I'm going to buy a PMR-30. Beat out the FN 5.7 in Gun Test.
-
Barry is the MAN. I carry in a Tommy Theis concealed, with my Kahr CM9. Open carry, 1911 (usually my Sig Target) in a Maker holster
-
Nice. I was gonna tell you, that smokin' tabaccy will kill ya.
-
I would expect electricians tape to have an effect. Sticky, gooey and stretchy. I dunno, I've never seen or heard of anyone doing this. I guess with most tapes not a big deal, but with a little care it's not needed and I've hunted with shotguns in the rain.
