That's pretty interesting, so it slips right on the grooved receiver? I've been shooting mine for years with factory sights. My only gripe is that 50 yards and beyond the front sight blots out the entire bulls eye. Never really thought about putting a scope on mine or any other sight. Now you have my juices flowing. Keep us posted. BTW I have a Williams adjustable peep sight on my M1892 .357/.38. Looks ugly but that thing is lights out.

I tell you what there is a TON of cheeze whiz on the web about porting, some is just pure junk, both ways. I'm getting the ported gun. If some how it's a problem, I can get a non-ported Lone Wolf barrel and even shoot lead.

Glock 20 -ported or non-ported barrel? I've read lots of pluses and minuses of porting. The only real plus for me is less felt recoil. I need some experienced input.

OK I just bought a Glock 20C. My hand fits it pretty well. But I'm the guy that likes the FNH-45. I'm a little excited. They'll have it next week.

Don't get too carried away - have you priced NEW 10mm 1911's lately? $1000 model is a cheapie, the .38's are rare and expensive. I literally "almost" ordered a Coonan twice now. The one I want comes up to about $1700. No kidding. The first time the guy misunderstood what I wanted with the black finish and the wood grips (I didn't want the Al grips). We went on for awhile and I said I'll wait. The second time was similar and he never called me back. Now I'm thinking 10mm.
