  1. I really appreciate this forum. I didn't feel like joining one of the huge boards. I enjoy posting without the Amsoil logo and without the assumption that everything I do is Amsoil related and I tire of the silly oil arguments and sillier rules! Oh sorry.... Thanks!!
  2. Is Magtech any good? Seems like the come up as the low bidder for .44 Mag.
  3. Very interesting! What other guns chambered the .44 S&W American? So what is the actual bore diameter? (Dude I must say, you are incredibly knowledgeable!)
  4. Stumbled in here from BITOG. Been a subdued gun nut for many years, and somehow now find myself living in the county of gun haters. King County WA state. Looking for a place to plink. Thinking of joining the WAC. Been an NRA member off and on over the years.
  5. Handy little gun in the 'hood. Somehow I'm the high bidder on that local B-92. Price is higher than hoped for, but no hassle with shipping, FFL, etc.
  6. Quote:The BuyNow! feature will also be disabled if the bidding exceeds the BuyNow! price. I see that.
  7. Interesting. Thanks. Local guy: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=206449740 Whatya think?
  8. Pretty much yes, by the feel and look. Not a Marlin guy, had one in .30-30 - not my favorite gun (caliber fine, just was never comfortable with that rifle). Rossi is low cost, but kinda rough. What are you thinking?
  9. I prefer .44 Mag, but I would "take" a .357 Mag. Any condition*, looking for a big brother to my Win 9422. *I should qualify this - want a gun I can shoot, so not looking for a collectible. Thanks.
  10. I have a Win 9422 XTR Classic S-L-LR (Made in 1988). It has the pistol like grip. Hard to beat the feel of this little gun. Mechanism is sweet. The wood is very nice. This .22 has come to slightly rare. The prices seem pretty high compared to what I paid in 1988, even accounting for (mild) inflation. The only slight negative (IMHO) is the tube slide lock mechanism. Better pics here (first one): http://www.thehighroad.us/showthread.php?t=300065
  11. I prefer .44 Mag, but I would "take" a .357 Mag. Any condition, looking for a big brother to my Win 9422. Believe it or not. Shannow from BITOG, or rather in AUS, has one a .44 Mag for sale but we concluded just too much hassle and expense to ship.
