  1. Don't need a case for the magazine, just the gun. I was thinking some kind of soft top, riveted on the back (body side) and strong magnets/snaps on the front. One company makes such a thing in all soft, but even the useless S&W .380 won't fit. (It might fit, but you'll need to call the fire department to get it out)
  2. Could you make a horizontal version with some type of snapable/magnetic cover to fit, say a Sig P238
  3. For some reason the Glock stubbies, like the G27 and G29 are just terrible. The short fat grip is just not at all grippable to me. The pistol twists, jumps, arrghhh...I think the third hand gun I shot in my life was a G27. The G20 grip allows me to splay my right hand a bit and get some bite. Then the left hand comes in very naturally and seals the deal with complete deadly stable accuracy. I did not want anything to do with Glock after that miserable experience with the G27. I calmed down after 10 months and bought a G17L. Nice gun, and that led me to the G20C. Again, nice gun. EDIT: I LOVE 10MM!!
  4. The 20 grip is perfect. I HATE small Glocks, they are like trying to hold a fat midget with explosive diarrhea. I do not have large hands. My right hand just goes around the front finger grooves, the my left just fits in the right side of the grip and around on top perfectly. I was shooting some medium hot Washougal Cartridge Company 180 gr, 1100fps or so loads.
  5. Well - it's interesting - 380's from everyone have teething issues. I like the Gambler!
  6. I have always kinda wanted a 44Mag handgun, but was afraid of the recoil. Now I suddenly want one to match my lever gun.
  7. Not that I noticed. A Glock 20 is a decent sized gun and has a heavy slide to begin with. I was shooting some mags FAST, and it was the end of a 5 hour shooting session, but I expected more muzzle flip, twist, recoil, etc - not much at all really. I was using my green laser and it was back on center, really fast. That said I would not like this round in a small package.
  8. Yeah, It's pretty common - you would think I did my research. Amazingly all the gun rags are glowing about the thing. S&W must have not even tested this piece of garbage. Easily the worst gun I've ever bought. I'm thinking recall may be in order! I still have the gun now but he's offering my money back. He's such a cool guy, I offered that he just give me credit and I will get a Sig or Colt .380.
  9. Not half as bad as your mind builds it, but my buddy was very scared. I must admit, my focus was all grip, not much for site picture. I did make a nice round hole in the middle of the bad guy poster target.
  10. FFL is offering me money back. Stay tuned.
  11. Wow those things rock the place. But the recoil was not that bad!
  12. My goodness: This is my EXACT saga!!
  13. I have not been covering the saga of this gun, but I'll keep it short. The built-in laser quit working for the second time, this after it had issues with some primers in factory reloads. Today the thing had some mechanical pukage. I can't get the slide back enough to remove the slide stop to even find out what is wrong with it. I give up. It's going back to S&W at the very least.
  14. Man what a SWEET gun. I shot 100 rounds or so with no issues.
  15. Quote:The Caracal is available in both 9 x 19mm and 9 x 21mm calibers. You got my interest!!
  16. Interesting thing - it makes me want to have one even more. I'm going to start the process right away for the summer season. I can't exactly decide which Garand and Carbine to get.
  17. You can shoulder it? Interesting! I would have got the 44Mag as well.
  18. Wow - those are sweet. Superior ballistics too. Great price....
  19. Am I nuts? http://centerfiresystems.com/AKAGUN-VEPR-54R.aspx Is this any good?
  20. WOW. Amazing photos. An inordinate amount of former organic chemists get some form of cancer is the only reason I brought that up.
  21. That sucks. Bone cancer. Wow. Was he ever an active chemist - or organic chemist? Guys like like him are getting scarcer. Fort Wayne? I worked there for a summer. Inland Specialty Chemical.
  22. Big news here that's for sure. http://www.examiner.com/gun-rights-in-se...s-posts-profits Lots of guys from the various venues plan to have open carry meet-ups at Starbucks. Have you gone through the website of that antigun group? Yikes, they basically say we are nuts and whackjobs.
