From what I read the P225 is the P6 made for import to America with a lighter trigger than the West German Police model. I see them for sale on and off again on another forum for around $400.

Isn't that the one the West German Police used? I don't know nothing about Sigs but I think I remember seeing that on the Aim site...

I'm currently shopping for a Red Dot or a variable powered scope. I ordered my PMAGS from Primary Arms so I have experience with that company. Who makes that Red Dot for Primary? Chinese? Just wondering your experience with the sight? I need something to knock bowling pins down at 200m. My Army Ranger buddy uses a 1x4 but he wants an Aimpoint. Should I save for the Aimpoint or is this sight, the one you have, a good place to start?

The detachable carry handle sights are good. Not quite precise enough though for bowling pin killin' at 200 though. Should I get a magnified Red Dot or variable powered scope?

Are any of those you listed in your original post manufactured in the USA? I have been considering a Mossberg.

Did you use Ballistol? How many shells does it hold in the tube? I'm thinking about a 20 GA...

From what I understand if it fits the Blackhawk it fits the convertible. You might contact Ruger. Tons of grips out there. Shoot it first and see what you've got...

Some of those are for the Super Blackhawk(.44 Magnum and .45 Colt). I'm asking someone who knows to make sure New Model Blackhawk grips will fit the convertible...

Nice! I've wanted one of those convertibles for as long as I can remember. I did look at ordering one myself a few days ago after this thread but alas they don't make them in stainless so I passed. Wanted a .41 Magnum Blackhawk since I was a boy when dad sold his off to the neighbors down the street when he needed money. I'm still mad at him for that even though I understand. Hard for an eleven year old to understand their Magnum is gone and the rich kids down the street have it... Enough about that...so when do you get your keys to the range Pabs?

Hey bro no bid deal! It wasn't meant to be... I was gonna say going from no semi-auto to a Deagle is a mighty giant leap so I wanna make a recommendation if you don't mind... Get yourself a 9mm! Cabela's has the Springfield XD on sale right now! Just a thought... Go in there and feel 'em all up like I said. It's okay you can touch them! You don't even have to buy one that day. Just pick up the semi-autos that you have been pondering about in 9mm or .40 or .45 and compare weights and check out the sights. They let me dry fire them all which I thought was neat...next best thing to actually firing them...I'm not telling how to spend your hard earned dough but I think next time you are in Cabelas to get some .44 Magnum bullets for that Browning you maybe should spend some time looking. There was a Deagle at Cabela's and the guy offered to let me hold it but I was scared of the thing a bit...scared I would buy it! It was used though.(Which had little to do with my decision just that I don't think you seem them in Cabela's unless they are used.) If you really must have a big bore handgun in .44 I would definitely check out the Ruger Super Redhawk! That thing is a beauty for the money! Kicks like a Missoura Mule though... Feel up the Glock 20 also. For the money($569) there is no other high powered semi-auto that can touch it. NONE! 10mm FTW! I know why you wanted a .44 but don't limit yourself to one caliber life is too short and that would be too simple and smart to do something like that! LOL! Just some late night two cents... I've been scouring the internests for a red dot for my AR and some M855. Internet window shopping has become my new past time. If you wanna win military shoots, the K31 is the one to get.. Possibly the most accurate of the surplus rifles from WWII. Though the Swiss K31 ain't easy to find anymore.
