  1. Seems soon every manufacture will have a 1911 and an AR 15 in their product line.
  2. IMO, Hi Powers are really nice .
  3. Interesting I didnot know the exact J.B specifics . To me the Hi Power seems to be the next step in the evolution mechanically from the 1911. The plastic guns seem at least barrel wise setup similar to the Hi Power.
  4. J.B,. died before the plans were complete and some else finished the design. It is interesting when you compare the High Power design to the 1911 them to the plastic guns.
  5. How many times has the brass been reloaded? I have 9mm brass that the primers flatten and the shells bloop out when they eject.
  6. http://ammo.ar15.com/project/AR15_Ammo_FAQnRules/index.htm More.
  7. Hindsite being 20/20 I never would have sold any of the guns I have owned. You don't have to feed them when they are not being used.
  8. The barrel isn't as far as what I can see damaged. My son has a 9mm XD and the the barrel is real thick, I wonder if it was an over pressure reload? A steel frame is way stronger.
  9. http://ammo.ar15.com/project/Self_Defense_Ammo_FAQ/index.htm Look at this info
  10. That is the problem with plastic guns they work great but are throw away.
  11. WELL!!! after reading this post I looked at my stash and I had 2 550 round boxes I went to the range and tried them ,yes they suck . Lots of stove pipes in the 10/22 and some miss fires . When I have a 22 misfire I try the round again in a different position to see if there is priming in another area of the rim all the rounds fired after rechambering. The goldens aren't very good.
  12. I have both. I am not really sure if it would matter. A 9MM with hollow points wouldn't leave me feeling under armed.
  13. Is it going to be Leopoulds Made in China name brand?
  14. Calif law say you have to buy one a month.
  15. Mountain lions are bad news.
  16. Proves what tough really is.
  17. I have a 1974 1911 with the box so I looked at the numbers and they do not match. Too bad I did not look when I bought the 1911 in 1974.
  18. The bad thing is purse snatching. You don't want to give a crook a gun.
  19. The ammo buying frenzy seems to never be ending.
  20. The 10/22 is most impressive in all forms.
  21. Try the 44 mag in a double action the recoil seems half . and in a desert Eagle even less. The recoil in a Blackhawk is nasty I owned one for a month in the early 1980s.
