You may want to check out Hornadys new bullets, made for long shooting and is available in 7mm 162 grain bullets. I have used 162g bullets for many years- works great so far but have not shot 1000 yds.

I use carb cleaner on my 22 pump-the wax from the loads builds up and the action will not eject-carb cleaner was shown to me by an old friend(gunsmith).I do not get it on the stock.
