    Shorty!

    Kinda like the 327 mag.
  2. Nice score! I really like the finish. Looks like we are having an arms race between G-Man and Bob
  3. Very nice! I had one years ago, good shooter! You pick that up at the gun show?
  4. LOL, Left myself wide open for that one. I have a little Hobart 140 thats seen better days and have been thinking of going to a Lincoln with a little more umph like yours.
  5. What are the specs on the welder Bob?
  6. For years I used an RCBS Trim Pro, a few years back I bought an RCBS Trim Mate prep center.
  7. LOL.. Those stumps are devilish critters, I worked on one for a couple years at my dad's once! BTW... Glad to hear you rekindled your love affair with the ol' one armed bandit!!
  8. "Smart Gun's" are nothing new, the idea has been tossed around for at least 10 years now. I don't want anything to do with electronics on my firearms, what about the one time you really need it and you have a glitch. I sure hope some of my membership dues in the NRA are being used to fight this type of gun control!
  9. Is that a Mueller scope I see there Bill? How do you like it? I put one on a bolt action Savage varmint rig project of mine some time back, I have no complaints.

    Pole Dance

    That,s hilarious!!
  11. I would go no shorter than the listed COL for a particular load,or longer than the SAAMI max which is 2.260". If you go shorter you may experience feeding or more importantly pressure issues.
  12. It means that that is a safe place to start for that particular load. You will likely need to adjust the COL to find the max accuracy in your rifle though.
  13. I agree with Arkie, unless .223 is not legal to use in SC it is more than enough, especially considering the small bodied deer you have in the south.
  14. Did your cousin load a lot of nickle plated brass with that die? I have had some issues in the past with the nickle flaking off inside the die, but it was usually my fault.
  15. You didn't mention they were moly coated in the original post. I believe the powder is there to act as sort of a cushion to help keep the moly coating on the bullet. That second pic wasn't there when I made my post.
  16. When it comes to reloading I am very detail oriented, I enjoy getting every last ounce of accuracy from my firearms. I also do a lot of varmint hunting, so for me the single stage works best.
