  1. Do you think a mag extension for an 870 will work on the Pardner?
  2. You really need more than one loading manual, I would suggest at minimum, the Speer and the Lee for beginners. Lot's of good info.
  3. Nice lookin rig Pablo! I think you could take down a wild boar at 20 yards!
  4. Update: The Rossi R92 in 454 I ordered came in, what a disappointment! I cycled the action a few times and man that thing was rough, I told them they could keep it. I did fondle a Blackhawk that cought my eye though!
  5. I have always been more accurate with a revolver, maybe it's just a different sight plane.
  6. Thats what I was thinkin too!!
  7. Love the minigun! Also Savage representin!

Don't suppose they are gonna eat all those do ya?
  9. I just did a rudimentary check on the headspace on my 9mm cylinder. I used one 9mm cartridge and placed it in each cylinder, much like Pablo did, and it looks to me like each cylinder is counterbored to the same depth.
  10. I bought ten 440rd cans of Russian made 7.62x54r about eight or nine years back, but it only cost like 1/3 of what they are getting now. I have not shot any of it though.
  11. Lots of good info there! I've never tried anything further than 150 yards with a slug, but I am certainly gonna play around a little next time!
  12. "Only a pimp from a cheap New Orleans whorehouse would carry a pearl-handled pistol." From the movie- Patton.
  13. Same with my local board, seems like most members are in the sub 25yo range, just got their first firearm, read a bunch of stuff on the net and are now experts!
  14. I have a Ruger MKII with a bull barrel, great gun, very accurate.
  15. Wonder why the switch? Better offer?
  16. I have a 12" and a couple 36" Tipton rods, they are carbon fiber.
  17. The grips for the old 3 screw model Blackhawk are different than the new model. Look Here Just don't buy a set of grips that are listed as fitting the XR-3 frame Blackhawk, which is the "old model"
  18. Neat gun, I think of it more as a novelty. I rarely shoot 9mm in it, 9mm is not quite as accurate as the 38/357, but overall not bad.
  19. I kinda figured it would be hard to dine on red mist...lol
