  1. Ahh, I missed that in your previous post.
  2. Why not just use a 180gr Partition and be done with it? I know for a fact it would cause less meat damage.
  3. Mine was an old Stevens model 22-410 O/U with the tenite stock. I got it for Christmas when I was 5, it was my first "big boy" gun.
  4. Look at it this way Wayne, if it doesn't work out then you have the perfect excuse to buy that Perazzi that you have been wanting.
  5. My dad shot doubles with a 870 Wingmaster for years, I say go for it.
  6. Steve, is Dad's 300 with or without the Accubrake?
  7. I was thinking the same thing Bob, maybe people are still doing the holiday thing and have just been too busy??
  8. I wonder if that stemmed from the fact that the DISC system turned more people off than it appealed to?
  9. Was it really just the economic downturn as Knight claims or maybe the DISC system had something to do with it?
  10. I see, you are talking about switching over to a progressive set up. I personally prefer a single stage, I feel I have more precise control over the process. I would just like a faster more reliable way of throwing charges.
  11. Bob, does Dillon make a scale that also throws the powder? I quickly glanced at the website, but I only saw digital scales?
  12. Thanks for the advice Moe, I may just do that.
  13. My favorite 180gr load that shoots well in my guns is 180gr Nosler Partition over 55grs of IMR4350. I get about 2610fps.
  14. I have been using an RCBS 5-0-5 for years, but I would like something faster. I wanted to get some opinions on the Chargemaster before I drop $300 on it.
  15. Thanks Wayne! and a Happy Healthy Thanksgiving to everyone!
  16. That is good to hear, I had not heard about the 50 round limit being being repealed. 50 rounds per month was insane.
  17. Nice tip Bill, I will have the spousal unit start collecting the used sheets!
  18. I guess all you guy's use the high dollar stuff huh?
  19. Wayne, your gonna have me back melting lead again before it's all said and done! I'm starting to get the itch back because of you. Rich
  20. As mentioned above adjusting the pressure also worked for me to a good extent. I agree it is most likely a hardness question. Do you not size your bullets?
  21. I got a great deal(one I couldn't pass up) on a NIB Savage 112BVSS in 25-06 a few years back and I am just now getting around to scoping it. What would you suggest for rings and base for under $100?
