  1. I used to 2000-2005 when I lived in Lynden. A bit far to drive now, but one of the place on my list to retire is up that way.
  2. I had my Rail Gun Cerakoted Magpul OD. Because I could. I bought a PSA 6.8SPC upper. Because it was $279. I put a Magpul OD Handguard on because it looks cool.
  3. Have you tried Tapco AR mags? I was surprised. And the spoon fits much better than a Magpul. I do like Magpul but - I don't exactly trust the store-ability without a so called "dustcover"
  4. With a Magpul stock. Love it!
  5. This has to have happened before........probably some story on THR. I wonder how you actually would know what happened?
  6. Some of the normally stalwart gun supply places have gone all zombie. The only thing worse is "tactical".
  7. Just filling those mags could bankrupt a small country. I kid, I kid. Did they come with?
  8. I can almost smell it here now. Burying it? Not sure why that would work!
  9. What kinda Bullpup is that?
  10. Cool! How well DO the Browning scaled down 1911-22's shoot?
  11. Got a factory BCG from: http://www.mapartsinc.com/productsDetail.asp?id=1496 Already shipped.
  12. They must not make many or they are really popular but I can't find a 6.8SPC bolt. Any hints?
  13. I ordered a 6.8SPC stripped upper (sans BCG and charging handle) from PSA for $299. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php...ing-handle.html Problem: Everyone is sold out of 6.8 bolts and BCG's!!!
  14. We think alike. I'm really suspect of the gas piston conversion. Thing is if I offered him $600 he would consider it an insult. Since I like DD so much I should look at their 6.8. Oh and where do you get such low prices on Barret? Some of their 6.8's are $5000.
  15. Is this worth $800??? Quote:I have an AR-15 upper reciever chambered in 6.8 SPC that I want to sell. Along with it, are 13 PRI magazines (25rds) and some extras. It's a flat top reciever with picatanny rail. It has been converted over to a Gas Piston System for cleaner and smoother operation. It also has a M.I. Quad picatanny rail on it for accessories. About the Upper reciever ------------------------------------ M-4 Upper Half (A2) E.R. Shaw M-4 barrel - 16" Barrel - 1-9 twist - Chrome Lined Chamber & Barrel (black manganese phosphate chrome moly steel) - Chambered in 6.8SPC - Threaded muzzle and A2 Flash hider CMMG Gas Piston Conversion (about $200) M.I. 2 piece gas pistion drop-in (quad rail hand guard) (M.I. 17-P) (about $200) YHM Harris Bipod mount (about $100) YHM Flash-hider (not attached, included as an extra) About the Magazines ------------------------------------ 13x PRI 25rd magazines (I have written 6.8spc with gray a sharpie on each them) These magazines are about $45 each new (worth $585) About the Misc. ------------------------------------ 1x Lulu magazine loader (also marked 6.8 witha gray sharpie) 4x 6.8 SPC "dummy" rounds 1x 6.8 brush 1x AR chamber brush 1x 6.8 bore snake All total, this is worth about $1650 new (then throw on tax, shipping etc) I've had this upper for about 4 years. I've put about 1400 rds through it. Its been well maintained and was professionally built. All of this is in excellent condition. I would like to sell it all as a bundle, but feel free to make an offer on just the upper or the mags or the extas (as a group). I'm asking $800 or Best Offer. I am located in Downtown Bellevue, WA. I'm not willing to mail or ship. Must be a local transaction, cash only.
  16. I used to order from Midway before I knew better. Most all my ammo online comes from PSA (Palmetto State Armory) when they have free shipping. Now that many places charge sales tax on line, thanks to Amazon (not!), I buy locally. Guns, etc - I try to buy locally, even ammo at the gun shows is cheaper. We have Rainer Arms locally for top notch AR stuff, local reloaders, etc. I still will buy from Gun Broker if no other options and do watch the adds.
  17. Will it shoot 7.62x51 and .308?
  18. I read the full article in Shooting Times last night. I would have liked more details on each one, but look at the other options besides Geissele. They do have info on the metallurgy of each brand........ Not on line (yet): http://www.shootingtimes.com/?s=AR+Triggers
