wwillson
I see nothing on Ruger's website about the SR40, but there is one for sale here on gunbroker. I googled around and read that Ruger started shipping SR40's to distributors this week.Wayne
2010_FX4
Kinda "glocky" (which means it will likely fall in the love it or hate it category).I fall into the latter...
CamuMahubah
The "glocky"er the better in my book...especially since it has a supported chamber.Ruger is American made and I don't know if yall know this...but in my neck of the woods Ruger is known for accuracy. Among other things to be sure...I might hold out on buying a Glock and take a look at this SR40.Anybody know MSRP?
CamuMahubah
And I know Glock is copied heavily in a lot of designs but the Ruger has more of a 1911 angle grip without the finger grips. You wanna see a Glock copy look at an early Sigma. Obviously there is much more than grip angle to be discussed...but...The Ruger is not really "Glocky", saying the Ruger is "Glocky" is like saying a Chevy is "Fordish". Nah mean?Maybe the above sentence just contradicted itself because if you were an alien you would see similarities amongst a bowtie and a blue oval. If you drove them both would see the difference...I think I just confused myself...
Bill_in_Utah
Really? SR40? Not good for Bill's budget. If they are anything like my SR9Cs then I'll have to get one..Thanks (I think) for the heads up!Bill PS:

2010_FX4
The Ruger is not really "Glocky", saying the Ruger is "Glocky" is like saying a Chevy is "Fordish". Nah mean?Sorry should have been a bit more specific - the trigger....
