Tom
I've been shooting since I was a little kid. My grandpa would take me out with a BB gun and shoot behind his house (on a ranch) I just shoot for fun and enjoy trap and target along with squirrels. Almost everything I shoot is small bore. Much like GMan just posted, I'm looking at polymer frame pistols right now as my next purchase. I'm leaning towards the S&W M&P right now since the XDm isn't available to common folk in Calif.I'm Tom Slick over on BITOG
wwillson
Hi Tom!I fondled a S&W M&P 9mm at a sports shop in Iowa last weekend. I just love the grip and pretty much everything about the pistol, but the trigger. I'm wondering how much better it gets with use...Welcome,Wayne
Scotty
Welcome Tom.Small bore is great. I have as much fun with a .22 as anything else. I'm partial to Rugers myself. But, I think the M&P is a great gun.
RLH70
Welcome Tom, I think the M&P would be an excellent choice, it is going to be my next pistol purchase.

steves
Hi Tom I have seen the XDm at Jones Fort, the local gun shop in Redding. I read nothing but raves about the M@P.
Tom
My local shop has the XDm also but for LEO sales only. It's not on the State of Calif. approved list.
