woodsoup
Has anyone ever sent their S&W back to them for a tuneup? My 626-4x6" is in need of a little tweeking to get some cylinder end play and loose lockup removed/minimized.
Bill_in_Utah
I have. The gun came back ok and I then sold it. It was better than it was before I sent it. Model 29 BTW. Take care, Bill
Arkie_Lefty
I'd a lot rather use Bill Lothridge's "Cylinder and Slide" custom shop. http://www.cylinder-slide.com/Reputation above reproach. OE, mild to wild. budget's the only limiting factor.Bob
Moe
The great thing about S&W is their lifetime warranty. The problems you discribe will probably be covered. Contact S&W, explain your problems and they will probably pay for the work along with the shipping both ways. They have great customer service, which wasn't always the case.
