Bill_in_Utah Posted September 19, 2010 Report Share Posted September 19, 2010 Thinking of picking up a new Mossberg M590A1 with ghost rings, 18.5 inch barrel to keep my Rem 870 and Winchester 1300 company. By the time I'm done with tax it will be out the door for well under $250. It would be a excellent in the trunk weapon at times. And with my 17 year old daughter thinking that the Winchester 1300 is hers I'd like to have another "riot" type weapon. (when she turns 18 she may get it) Also any comments on a Mossberg Super Bantam 22in 20 gauge? Can get that for under $200..Thanks in advance! xtell Posted September 20, 2010 Report Share Posted September 20, 2010 Bill in Utah,I'm more of a side by side double barreled shotgun fan myself but a couple of times I shot my friends 590A1 Mariner that he keeps on his boat. Nice - real solid - shotgun that seems well put together (metal trigger guard, heavy barrel, dual extractors) and functioned correctly. I don't have any experience with a Super Bantam. Found out our local WalMart is carrying 15 00Buck or 1 OZ Slugs (3-5 rounds boxes) for $9.97 now!I've been getting them for $4.99 for 5. So its like a box free.
