My review of a 1960 300 Weatherby Mag. My Dad purchared the rifle new a Roos brothers department store in San Francisco Ca. I remember I seemed big and had trouble holding it myself. It only was sighted in before his hunting trips and at deer or elk he shot at. In 1995 I took the rifle to the range to try it out. It could at 100 yards cloverleaf the 3 shots. It is the light weight barrel . The recoil on the bench really sucks. in Feb 2010 I took it to the range and still the recoil sucks. Call me a pansy . It is a beautiful rifle though. That is my review of my Weatherby Rifle.
