wwillson Posted November 12, 2009 Report Share Posted November 12, 2009 All,This is a blown barrel from a 1911A1 45ACP. The shooter had a squib and didn't realize what had happened. He just figured that the cartridge didn't fire and racked the slide again. He did see the case land on the ledge in the indoor range, but it was so dark he couldn't see that the case was empty.
