Llama Cal .40 S&W

Does anyone know if this caliber field strips the same way as their M1911 copy?

http://gunshowonthenet.com/Gun_Manuals/Gun_Manuals3/Llama_Max_I.pdf

I am second owner (back-up gun for original owner, detective), but was never given the original manual for it.

I think it is more accurate than my BIL's Glock 23. The only disadvantage seems to be the magazine's capacity.

Thanks

Phil

Sorry it took so long to get back but past weather hasn't given me much incentive, but that has changed.

The Llama appears to lock up on the bell of the barrel, which is machined with concentric friction rings.

So it does not appear to have the same strip down procedure as the 1911 copy.
