Moe
My Chronograph is 22 years old and still works great. It's an Oehler 35p. I was just wondering if anybody has any experience with some of the newer models and if they like them or not. When I was at the gun shop yesterday, they had a Remington chronograph for $120. One extra skyscreen for mine cost that! Oehler no longer sells to the general public, so I am looking for a possible replacement if mine ever dies. RLH70
I use a Chrony Beta Master, it's about 5 years old and works just like the day I bought it. I am very pleased with it.
Moe
Good to know. Does it store different shot strings and does it have a printer?
RLH70
Good to know. Does it store different shot strings and does it have a printer? It has a 60 shot memory divided into 6 strings. It does not come with a printer, but you can add their printer to it.
JSharp
I'm still using an ancient Competition Electronics Pro TNT. It's a handy unit since the control electronics can be used as a shot timer. It's a little picky about ambient light and the shooting area is small but overall it works OK. One thing I really like about it is that the lightscreen assy. is separate from the electronics. I've had to repair the lightsceen setup a couple of times do to bullet damage but the electronics have been trouble free. Some of the newer chronos look nice with a lot more features and a much larger shooting area. But I don't like the idea of the electronics sitting out in the potential path of the bullet.
