Why not just use a 180gr Partition and be done with it? I know for a fact it would cause less meat damage.

Mine was an old Stevens model 22-410 O/U with the tenite stock. I got it for Christmas when I was 5, it was my first "big boy" gun.

I wonder if that stemmed from the fact that the DISC system turned more people off than it appealed to?

Was it really just the economic downturn as Knight claims or maybe the DISC system had something to do with it?

I see, you are talking about switching over to a progressive set up. I personally prefer a single stage, I feel I have more precise control over the process. I would just like a faster more reliable way of throwing charges.

My favorite 180gr load that shoots well in my guns is 180gr Nosler Partition over 55grs of IMR4350. I get about 2610fps.

I have been using an RCBS 5-0-5 for years, but I would like something faster. I wanted to get some opinions on the Chargemaster before I drop $300 on it.

The only good thing is the provision that limited purchases of handgun ammo to 50 rounds per month was stripped out.
As far as I understand, reloading componets are not affected. Just don't give them any ideas!
That is good to hear, I had not heard about the 50 round limit being being repealed. 50 rounds per month was insane.

As mentioned above adjusting the pressure also worked for me to a good extent. I agree it is most likely a hardness question.
Do you not size your bullets?

I got a great deal(one I couldn't pass up) on a NIB Savage 112BVSS in 25-06 a few years back and I am just now getting around to scoping it. What would you suggest for rings and base for under $100?
