Yeah, there is a slight difference in recoil.

and I never really noticed before just how much smaller the 22-250 is than the 300 Remington Ultra Mag. After I finished reloading I had both batches out for a final once over, never really looked at them side by side.

In Ohio you can use a rifle (any caliber) for Coyote, Wild Boar,Groundhog,Fox,etc... Just not Deer, Turkey etc..

I have an older LEE,I can't say it's my favorite, it's just the one I have.

Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor, Tipton sells 'em.

Yup, thats about how it works, but it does work. Reactivating the silica gel got old.

I have a 12" GoldenRod in both my safes, works very well.
-
If it was legal to use a rifle I could just take one from my kitchen window and never even put my shoes on.

I love the Garand, but I have a soft spot the M1903A3, I own a Remington made and a Smith Corona made one. I haven't done much research on mine, but they are both good shooters.

That is also a very good manual, I go to it often.

Congrats on the sustenance!! It's still bow season here and due to the unusually warm weather we have been having I have not had much luck yet, but the rut is heating up so I think business will pick up.
I wish it was legal to use a high power rifle here in Ohio.

I have a dozen or so, but my favorite would be Lyman. They have much more data for cast loads than any other manual I own.

I might give those a try, I have also been considering Walker's game ear products?

I usually wear plugs except when I am hunting and then I don't wear anything. That is likely the reason I've lost 25% hearing in my left ear.

I have never had to send anything back to Ruger myself, but I know people who have and I have not heard anything negative about their customer service.

I have one in .223, as mentioned the trigger is nothing to write home about. I had my gunsmith work on it and it breaks crisp at 3.5lbs now, was 8lbs from the factory. It is surprisingly accurate for such an inexpensive gun. Overall I believe it is well worth the money.

Greetings,
I am TurboLuver over on BITOG. I'm married and live about 30 minutes east of Cincinnati. Hunting, shooting and cars are my hobbies.
I have been shooting as far back as I can remember and started helping my dad cast bullets and reload at around the age of 5. I only got seriously involved in casting and reloading at around 12, so I have been doing it about 27 years now.
It looks as though we have a board full of top notch people and I look forward to learning and sharing ideas in the future.

Great idea, kinda like a pay it forward thing.

That is one slick set up with the 80/20 rails!
Looks like I'm in the minority with my "green" presses though.
-
I think I am starting to understand why my forefathers left Europe.
-
Is this forum also to include "black powder" muzzleloading topics?
-
I have 2 single stage presses. The first one is on the left and is my dedicated decapper/bullet puller etc..
The second I use for the actual loading process, it's mounted on the right. Seems to work pretty well for me.

Pretty good supply at my local gunshop, saw Winchester and CCI bricks going for $29.99 - $31.99.

I never roll crimp my 45ACP rounds since it headspaces on the case mouth, I use a Lee factory crimp die and taper crimp to .470"-.471" on lead or jacketed bullets.
Ran a couple batches today
