wwillson Posted July 3, 2010 Report Share Posted July 3, 2010 All,I've been using my Lee case trimmer (the base goes in a drill) to trim .223 brass. Some of the brass has no 'wobble', which leads me to believe it's pretty straight. However, some of the brass has a considerable 'wobble' when turned in the drill. I'd say a few pieces have at least .05" run-out. RLH70 Posted July 3, 2010 Report Share Posted July 3, 2010 That will certainly affect accuracy, I use an RCBS case master concentricity gaging tool and a Forster outside neck turner, but I am into groundhog and coyote hunting so I try to wring out as much accuracy as I can.
