wwillson
I have a 12ga MEC Sizemaster that I'm using to load VP60 wads. After the wad is seated, the wad wants to hold onto the rammer tube. I believe that sometimes the rammer tube will unseat the wad slightly, which might give inconsistent loads. Anyone know of a solution for this?Wayne

wwillson
Bob,I removed the rammer and polished both the inside and outside with steel wool. The tube is much less sticky on the wads and I no longer get the occasional shot bridged inside the tube. Sure is nice not to have to pick up shot from all over the floor! Thanks for the idea,Wayne
Moe
The other day, I spilled 10 lbs of 9's all over the floor when I was filling the shot tube and the bag slipped out of my hands. I cleaned out my vacuum hopper and was able to recover about 3/4's of it. What a royal PITA. Still finding shot near and around my workbench. wwillson
Moe,You need to shoot steel, then you could recover all of the shot with a magnet!
