  2. A friend and I went to the CADA gun show at Pheasant Run in West Chicago, IL Nov 7th. Lots and lots of high value collector guns. Many Colt SSA revolvers that were between $10,000 and $20,000! A beautifully gold inscribed shotgun for $97,000. So many guns that I've read about and seen pictures of and there they were for my eyes to see in person! If you ever get a chance to go to one of the CADA shows, GO.

  3. I've been looking for a way other than the silica gel packets to keep my gun safe dry. I found a silica gel dehumidifier the plugs into a 120v wall outlet to regenerate (force the water out of the silica gel). The brand name of the product I found is "Eva-Dry", search google you'll find it. Claims it can be regenerated thousands of times. Seems it would be much cheaper over time to use instead of the packets. Does anyone use this or something similar to keep your gun safe dry?

  4. A member of our trap club was showing me two identical choke tubes - one brand new, the other had been shot many times. Both were clean and free of any visible defects. When screwed in the used choke tube was fairly tight, while the new tube dropped in and turned with little effort - noticeably different. The only reasonable explanation is that the used tube had stretched to a slightly larger diameter. Is it plausible that a choke tube could stretch over time?
