They aren't the choice for hours of target shooting.

I remember waiting for them to come on to the market and they never did.

It will do the job and then some.

The only part that is to worry about it a little plunger and spring.

If the trigger group is similar to the Security 6 there is a little thing that rockets in to the next state if you are not careful, look at the exploded diagram ,otherwise it is an easy job.

The set of hand guns which would make life worth living for me in the early 1970s was a Goldcup a 4 or 6" Python and a Browning Hi Power. I never owned a Python 'yet'

A wild guess is to aid in removing the slide stop pin 'what ever the proper nomenclature is for the part' ?? Is it my imagination or is the frame beefier?

I would call Dillion and ask. Does the die say carbide on it?

I got home from a 4 day trip and my Dillon parts were waiting for me . Yesterday I installed the primer feed device and loaded 600 40 S@W rounds in 3 hours. And I load slow.

I bought my first Colt AR in 1978 then bought another one then 2 more so I had 4 . Ars are accurate and easy to shoot. When the Calif government decided to step on the constitution, people I shot with wanted to buy them so I sold them. I would like to get a piston AR though .The direct impingment on the bolt from my experience is a poor design on a rifle you would depend on to protect yourself in a battle field situation . I have gotten my AR dirty enough to have operating problems ,the Chinese ak I used to own would work and work . I like to shoot turn bolt rifles best for recreation .

I did that as well.

I have a Dillon 550 and have reloaded 30.06, 308, 223, 38/357, 40S@W 9mm, 45acp and 300 Weatherby mag on it. I have owned it since 1991 and the primer device quit working last week ,called Dillon and I have a new primer device covered by the no BSwarranty delivered yesterday. If you look at the Calif pistol purchase law, the state wants you to buy a handgun a month. Once you learn the machine you can do 500 rounds in 2 hours without breaking a sweat. Reloading can add lots of fun to the sport of shooting. ..... I started loading on a RCBS single stage press in 1976 a Dillon is the way to go the extra $$$$ is well worth it.

1903 Springfield,,or any bolt with a mauser type extractor.

The 158gn lead semi wadcutter +p and the Speer Gold Dot 135gr+p are the most popular snubbie loads and are supposed to be effective.

The bottom of the bullet is sealed with with copper which may be better for indoor ranges

The Dillon 550 press I purchased in 1991 has its first problem . The primer feed mechanism quit working . I called Dillon this morning and explained the problem. The rep said we are sending you a new primer feed setup and you should expect it in 3 days. I was happy as can be with the press and now I am even happier because of the Dillon service I experienced.

My son wants a muzzle loader so I told him to get a job and earn the money to buy one. I never shot one, but a muzzle loader seems fun.

I was almost ready to get the lottery grand prize but Nixxon ended the draft.

One of my friends owned a gun shop and when the gun owner dies the Yuppie anti gun kids would bring them in to be consigned for same . I would tell them they are keep sakes. But to the yuppie types they were evil guns.
Anything wrong with a single stage setup?

I have used an RCBS unit and it worked great, as with any tool quality is important.
