  1. Back when I was in basic we were cleaning our M4's even after just cleaning our M4's. Had a really bad experience when I was at a range one time and got a tiny piece of pete gravel in my reciever from loading a magazine that caused one heck of a jam that pretty much required it to be sent to the armorer. I got smoked something fierce and never wanted to buy an AR-15 after that experience. But aside from that they sure did stress about cleaning carbon out of the "star chamber" as they put it. But we never got ONE cleaning rod or bore brush... We always kept our weapons lubed with CLP and gave a generous amount to the bolt carrier everytime we shot it. Only when it is stored do they want it to be bone dry.

Anything on GB is overpriced... Have you ever talked to your favorite FFL about ordering you one? The store I go to will make most of the things I ask for happen in about a week. Do you ever see Kel-Tec's available anywhere anyway? Everywhere I go doesnt matter what model its sold out.

  3. Ive cleaned my Mossberg 702 Plinkster once since I bought it 13 months ago. It sounded like sand was grinding on the bolt carrier. Ruined the recoil spring while putting it back together... Managed to get it back together and it still functions with a messed up spring. But it doesnt sound like sand friction anymore!

  4. Just curious what and how you carry your CCW?

    My set up is:

    Ruger LCP/Tulammo FMJ/Blackhawk! pocket holster

Left jean pocket. Extra mag in the right coin pocket(I dont know what that extra tiny right pocket is called). A 6rd .380 mag fits in that pocket with PERFECTION and doesnt go in past the mags floor plate. Id rather carry my Kel-Tec P-11 because of the up in caliber and I shoot that with confidence versus passableish with the pocket 380. I havent had a lot of luck finding an inside the waist left handed holster for it though.

I'm completely wrong - the LC9 is quite a bit larger externally than the LCP.

True. They call um pocket 9's but you have to have BIG pockets to get that pistol to slip in and out of.
  6. One of my friends got one and I tried it out with him and its a blast to shoot. The only downside is figuring out how to hold it. If only you could legally put a stock on it I would buy one in a heartbeat. But that isnt likely to happen...

  7. Bought a Kahr CM9 this AM. It's a lower cost brother to the PM9.

Plus I faxed in the form to get another mag, no charge.

Anyway, I needed something I could carry concealed and finally decided on a 9. The gun is well built and quite a bit smaller than the Ruger LC9. Feels great in my hand and as a decent bonus the trigger pull is great.

What is the difference between the CM9 and PM9? Aside from price...
  8. Anyone here ever handle one of these carbines? Im dead set on dropping cash ordering one ASAP but I would like someones take on it. For the money there are not many weapons priced to beat it. So if anyone has ever had experience with one please let me know. Im really wanting to get this order in if its indeed worth it.
