Pablo Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 Anyone know a source of .308 Savage 11 magazines with more than 4 rounds? Quote
BarryinIN Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 There is a place called Sharp Shooters Supply or something like that, who carries a lot of stuff for Savage bolt actions. I'd start by tracking them down if you haven't already.I was looking at a friend's Savage (the HB .308 with about a 20" barrel) with detachable magazine. He was somewhat bemoaning the four-round capacity, but I was admiring how nice and compact that magazine was. Quote
Pablo Posted November 6, 2011 Author Report Posted November 6, 2011 Are you a bad shot? Extremely. I go through a lot of ammo trying to improve. It's amazing. I sail right through 30 rounds and still want to improve..... .....and it repeats every few weeks. Quote

Target practice, maybe a few rounds more. This is the place:http://www.sharpshootersupply.com/I sent them an email. Thanks! Quote
Pablo Posted November 23, 2011 Author Report Posted November 23, 2011 Funny - after 15 days I get a reply.http://www.sharpshootersupply.com/The HIGH CAPACITY DBM MAGAZINE (9 rounds) will fit. But it's $80. Yikes.... Quote
BarryinIN Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 I hear Savage is now making a 10-Rd mag. Part number 110570; $57.00. Quote
Clevy Posted November 16, 2015 Report Posted November 16, 2015 I'd love to find higher capacity magazines for my Thompson center dimension. After my pig experience last weekend. Punching paper I just load one shot at a time. A misplaced shot in a pig on the run only see,s to anger them. And trying to fire a precision shot while a pig is running at you isn't as easy as one might think. I can't help you with the savage. If anyone hears about higher capacity magazines for a Thompson center dimension please give me a holler. Sorry about the thread jack Pablo. Quote
