357 Mag Recipe?

Just remember that Unique is a medium burn-rate powder and Blue Dot is a slow burn-rate powder. You will get less velocity from Unique, but that's usually acceptable for range/plinking. I loaded Unique a long time ago, so I don't remember much about it, but don't remember anything negative.

What type of loads will these be?

I quit using unique powder in the 80s because it was really dirty now I have 4 lbs of Win. 231 for the only reason it was cheap and I'll use it for plinking use ,,, who woulda thunk it. Will the loads be target type loads ? This is one of the things that makes reloading so much fun IMO. I am now just shooting the reloads I did in the late 80s. They are 296 and unique. These days I never do max loads . The 357 loads were max loads and the 296 seem way hotter than the unique. Even though I am on a sell the guns I am not using mode the 8 shot Smith 357 seems to interest me.
