CamuMahubah
My G23 came with a plastic cleaning rod and a soft bore brush which I believe is Nylon. It's not metal of course. I've put 500 rounds through the Glock and tonite I decided to brush the bore with the supplied brush. I used Ballistol and ran it through the bore a couple times with the supplied cleaning rod. Now the brush is full of Ballistol, powder residue and maybe some copper particles. So it is dirty. I was thinking hot water and soap, and then letting it dry thoroughly. The bristles are mounted on an aluminum rod. At least it looks aluminum. So how do yall clean plastic/nylon bristle bore brushes? Or should I just leave it like it is? Tom
I spray it with carb cleaner but soap and water should get it clean enough.
