Are there any "got to have" books on reloading? I know there are manuals put out by the powder and bullet manufacturers but what about general knowledge books?

"The ABC's of Reloading" by Bill Chevalier is a definite must-have for reloading IMO. I've only been at this very addicting hobby for two months and I found said book to be a veritable gold mine of information. A tremendous help indeed.

There is a lot of good general information available in the Speer Reloading manual. If you can, try to track down a copy of "Modern Handloading" by Major George Nonte. It was published in the 60's but has a wealth of information from general reloading to casting your own bullets to forming brass for obsolete cases from existing cartridges.

I ended up with

"The ABC's of Reloading" 8th edition

Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading

and

Lyman 49th Reloading Handbook.

The "ABC's" is good for starting to figure out what the equipment and process is.

The Hornady book is good for reference.

The Lyman book is great all around.
