wwillson
Has anyone ever used rice as your tumbling media? I don't know if it would work, but we can get it for cheap at Sam's or Costco.Wayne
Bill_in_Utah
I've used it. Works sorta well. Gets dirty real quick and does not last long. I find good old walnut with dryer sheets works the best for getting the powder resdue off and dirt. Lasts forever. Corn with polish for making things shiny (after the walnut) Bill

Bill_in_Utah
Bill,You put a dryer sheet in the tumbler?Wayne Take a USED one (I have the wife trained to keep them) cut it in quarters and place those in the media along with the brass. The brass comes out clean and the sheets keep the media clean. Throw the VERY dirty sheets away after each use and enjoy the same media for years! Take care, bill PS: I like the Snuggle brand as it makes the brass smell nice! (Just kidding)
