  1. What advantage does a longer barrel get you? Has anyone ever read any studies on shotgun barrel length? Seen any data?
  2. I'm posting a plug for www.opticsplanet.com.. I was recently extremely impressed with this companies customer service. I purchased some shooting glasses with interchangable lenses.. When I was changing lenses out I snapped a piece of plastic off of one of the lenses.. Bad manufacturing or operator error? Either way... I sent them back and the firm replaced them in a timely and efficient manner.. I'll be buying all my optics and accessories from these guys.. four stars from me for their prices, selection, and customer service...
  3. I would find out if it fits you...I like the Monte Carlo stock and extended forcing cone.. The price is right but sometimes you get what you pay for and sometimes you get less.. If you ever get more than you pay for let me know and I'll buy two of each..
  4. Don't do it!!! it's addicting... I would try to find an over under with a parallel comb that fits you. Automatics are ok but harder to clean and tend to be less desirable for trap doubles and 5 stand. If you don't plan on shooting trap doubles and 5 stand then an 390 is a great gun. I have a 12 gauge 1100 that I don't really care for and as a result never shoot.. I still hunt with a pump but rarely shoot clays with it other than to get ready for hunting. Good luck Bri
  5. I dunno but If It was me I would be looking for another source of wads..
  6. I have to agree with you Wayne. If one side opens and the other does not you are going to have an affect. The drag on one side will be far greater than the other causing an immediate spinning of the shot/wad package. "that much" is relative.. If you shoot a 24 you ALMOST shot a 25. Sounds like Helarco needs to get their slitter working properly.
  7. I've got a Baikal MP153. Very sturdy shotgun for heavy loads..
  8. Mossberg 500 in 12 gauge... Still have it... Still shoots like new.. except it seems shorter now..
  9. Whats the most accuate .45 out of the box?
  10. Downers Grove Sportsmans Club has a sporting clays course. I have shot this course and enjoy it. Check the calendar on their website for shoots. Bri
  11. Hi Wayne, I found this link with a diagram of one way to position your feet at each station. I use this stance when I shoot trap except on station 1. On station 1 I like to rotate about 10 degrees anti-clockwise from the stance pictured. (I'm a right handed shooter). http://www.dundeesportsmansclub.com/Dundee%20Pic/dscinc.trap.shooting.tips.htm Hope this helps. Bri
